This Privacy Policy explains how Zippl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Zippl", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Zippl application and website (the "Service").

Account information — such as your name, email address, and phone number used to sign in.
Business data you enter — items, parties (customers/suppliers), invoices, payments, and ledger entries.
Device & usage information — basic technical data needed to operate and troubleshoot the Service.

provide, sync, and back up your billing and inventory data across your devices;
authenticate you and secure your account;

improve the reliability and features of the Service.

3. Storage & sync

Zippl is offline-first. Your data is stored locally on your device and replicated to our secure cloud backend so it can sync across your devices and be restored if a device is lost. Data is isolated per shop so that one business cannot access another's records.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting and sync infrastructure), under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations, or where required by law.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal and accounting record-keeping requirements.
